Been a while...

since I updated the blog. Had been an eventful Weekend , with Mr Pramod Mahajan been shot by his own brother. This news had been the Breaking News all through the weekend and still going on.

Talking of Pramod, my dear roomy KPK had an exhibition here in Banaglore at the Kanteerva Stadium , in Kitchen Yatra. The Mangalore Cashew Nut Association had organised the same , and it was indeed a great sucess. I had been to the fest, and our dear KPK was enjoying every moment selling the cashew as well as the Brand "cazoo"

Right now , our server is down, and we cannot work. So I am here chilling out with blogging. and the other good news is that , it is raining out here... Just the thought of that it is raining , makes one nice and cool.

The coming weekend will be a long one, on account of the Labour Day holiday. I am not sure whether I will be going home or not, but Anup might be coming here. Thats what he has said as of now.
Let me see whether he has any plans of roaming around. If thats the case then, I will probably be go out for a photo shoot and make use of the camera.....

Will update soon if any news pictures..

Bamboo and Life .

I came across this lovely post ... Read on.

"One day I decided to quit...I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality... I wanted to quit my life.

I went to the woods to have one last talk with God.

"God", I said. "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?" His answer surprised me...

"Look around", He said. "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?"

"Yes", I replied.

"When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light. I gave them water. The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo. In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo." He said.

"In year three there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit.

In year four, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. I would not quit." He said.

"Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth. Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant...But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall. It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle."

He said to me.

"Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots?"

"I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you."

"Don't compare yourself to others." He said. "The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern. Yet they both make the forest beautiful."

"Your time will come", God said to me. "You will rise high"

"How high should I rise?" I asked.

"How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return.

"As high as it can?" I questioned

"Yes." He said, "Give me glory by rising as high as you can."

I left the forest and bring back this story. I hope these words can help you see that God will never give up on you.

HE will never give up on you!

Stay Blessed."

A day of downs!!!

12th April 2006..
Would be a day to remember for a long time..

It didnt start off well... my sister had some burns while forcibly opening up the pressure cooker in the morning while cooking...
Though nothing much but still it was not that great a start.

Later in the day , it was a routine day of work, but the Indian top order collapsed like the cycles in the cycle stand , as Navjot Singh Sidhu puts it. The local lad Dhoni really played well , but narrowly missed his century. India did put up a respectable score on board, but not enough to stop the English , who finally won a match in this series. They have already lost the series though.

The stock market also saw a huge fall of more than 300 points in a single day. the highest since the 17th May 2004 Fall (ie on the Black Monday ) ...

Then , last but not the least, our beloved old neighbour , Dr Rajkumar passed away.
The news was spread around 2 pm , and we all all got the mail from the HR to leave for the day to avoid any problems.

I did remember the 31st July inciddent years back, when DR was abducted by Veerappan.
I did hurry home, but there were a lot of riots on the way , buring of tyres etc ..
I am happy that I managed to reach home safely without any problems. All shops were forcibly closed.

The only good part was that we might have an holiday tomorrow....
